People always of think of cakes for mom, but don't forget about dad on his special day :) Below, our five favorite cakes to celebrate dad.
1. Salted Caramel Mille Crêpes - Choose this special cake for the dad who already knows and loves Lady M. Perhaps he's tasted our Signature Mille Crêpes? Even our Green Tea Mille Crêpes? Perhaps even a few other flavors. Impress him with one of our newer Mille Crêpes, this glorious creation rich with salted caramel cream and cacao nibs on top. It's one of our favorites.
2. Checkers - For the complex, analytical minded dad. Intricately woven squares of chocolate and vanilla sponge cake make this cake a showstopper. It's all at once mysterious and delicious, a delicious combination of two beloved flavors. Each of the alternating square are separated with the slightest brush of whipped cream. How do we do it? Perhaps dad will know.
3. Banana Mille Feuilles - for the fun loving, carefree dad. This cake is playful and a wondrous sight for the eyes. A tall tower of whipped cream, vanilla cake, and perfectly ripe bananas. And don't forget the crowning touch, our housemade mille-feuilles, all buttery and flaky. A dream of textures!
4. Gateau Aux Marrons - for the worldly, well-traveled dad. This is Lady M's take on the classic mont blanc dessert (named after the highest mountain in the Alps). Our cake comes with walnuts and snow sugar (like the snow atop Mont Blanc!) dusted on top. Underneath, roasted chestnuts, sponge cake and whipped cream. What a beauty.
5. Chocolate Arc-En-Ciel - For the chocolate loving dad. People don't call this our "rainbow chocolate cake" for no reason. Chocolate comes in a heady quintuple dose here: chocolate sponge cake, milk chocolate mousse, dark chocolate mousse, chocolate ganache, and cocoa powder all over the top.
