Lady M takes great pride and care in shipping our cakes to you. Every order is carefully hand-packed and will arrive in a Lady M insulated bag. Our step-by-step instructions below are designed to help you transform your cake into a stunning centerpiece for any and every special occasion.

General Guidance

Unboxing and Defrosting

  • Unboxing and Defrosting Step 1

    Once you receive your cake delivery, open the shipping container to the reveal your reusable Lady M thermal bag.

  • Unboxing and Defrosting Step 2

    Unzip the thermal bag and lift the insulated top layer.

  • Unboxing and Defrosting Step 3

    Open the cake box, and carefully unwrap the cake from its protective shrink wrap layer. Then, return the cake to the box and allow it to thaw in the refrigerator for 12 hours before enjoying. Do not remove the dry ice from the thermal bag—leave it to evaporate.

    Once fully defrosted, decorate your cake if necessary and enjoy!

Cake Assembly

    Start with your defrosted cake as it appears when it arrives.

    Sift the included matcha powder onto the green tea slices.

  • Slice of the Best: Classic Collection Step 3

    Remove the cellophane from all slices and begin to assemble, alternating between flavors: Chocolate, Signature, Green Tea, and Earl Grey.

    Place the chocolate curls on after the slices have been assembled. Curls can be placed lengthwise towards the tip of the slice. Enjoy!

Tres Leches Mille Crêpes

    Start with your defrosted cake as it appears when it arrives.

    Begin to place the included coconut flakes around the edge of the cake.

    Keep the coconut flakes ring around 1” wide.

Pistachio Mille Crêpes

    Start with your defrosted cake as it appears when it arrives.

    Begin to place the larger pistachio pieces around the edge of the cake.

    Fill in the remaining spaces with the smaller pistachio pieces, making sure to keep the ring size consistent all the way around.

    Begin to place the white chocolate curls around the cake, spacing them evenly.
