Aloha from Hawaii!
We've been visiting the Hawaiian Islands for years. It's one of our favorite places to travel, and for many reasons. There's the beach (we like to mix it up with Waikiki beach and Lanikai beach), the beautiful hotels (hello Royal Hawaiian and Halekulani!), and most of all... we can't get enough of the food. Hawaii has a strong Asian influence (not just from one particular ethnic group, but a mix of them all), which makes Hawaii a very special place.
We have many good friends here, and when one decided to open a tea house in Waikiki – and asked to serve our cakes – how could we possibly pass up on that partnership?
Make sure to stop by Waikiki Tea on your next visit to Hawaii! You'll find a rotating selection of Lady M cakes (the only place you can get them in Hawaii) alongside lots of local omiyage to take home, and a full menu of coffee and tea drinks. It's a lovely spot to gather for meetings with friends (table service and seating available) also also perfect if you just want to pick up tea/cake/sweets to go. Waikiki Tea is located on Beach Walk and is an easy walk to everything in Waikiki.
While you're there, check out a few of our other go-to spots along Beach Walk including Henry's Place ( next door, for ice cream), Punchbowl Coffee (right behind Waikiki Tea, in the same building), and Wasabi Bistro for lunch/dinner (and don't forget to order coffee jelly for dessert!)
See you in Hawaii!
Till then,
Renato
