Lunch at Lady M Hong Kong

February 12, 2019 8:57 am
We're having lunch in Hong Kong today! At our Causeway Bay location to be specific. It's a quick five-minute walk from the Causeway Bay MTR stop to Food Street in Fashion Walk.

There are four tables outside and that's exactly where you want to be sitting when the weather is nice. Ready for lunch? We're doing the two-course set with a drink. Let's begin!

The lunch set gives you the choice of any drink. There are five hot tea options and six non-caffeinated options like apple-rooibos, citrus-chamomile, and osmanthus blossoms (my personal favorite). For a bit more, you can upgrade to a tea latte including a French rose latte and green tea latte. If you're looking for iced drinks, there's yuzu lemonade and violet yogurt soda (pictured above). The violet yogurt soda is super refreshing - it's made from a based of steeped butterfly pea flowers and finished with a splash of soda water to give it the slightest fizz and carbonation. All good to prime your tastebuds for...
...the most popular dish on the menu. The tomato sauce with linguine is the best selling dish for a reason. It's a classic done beautifully, the linguine swirled with the simmered tomatoes. Hearty but not heavy. It's finished with a dusting of grated parmesan. And under those fresh basil leaves? A quenelle of pesto! Swirl it in to the pasta and devour.
You have your choice of any cake on the dessert menu. I went with the Rose Mille Crêpes, just because we don't get this flavor in boutiques too often in the US. It's the classic Lady M Mille Crêpes but with rose infused into the cream layers, and tiny rose petals on top. What a beauty.
Here's a peek at the inside seating (which is always packed!)...
...and the outside area.
We'll be back for lunch soon again.

Till next week,
