We love our Lady M cakes with a hot pot of tea (especially during these colder months). It's warm and happy...so soothing. Below, a few favorite pairings to try next time you're in the boutique. Or order a whole cake and give these pairings a try at home. Enjoy!

Tea: Earl Grey
Cake Pairing: Signature Mille Crêpes
Lady M’s signature Earl Grey tea goes hand in hand with our signature cake, the beloved Mille Crêpes. Layers upon layers of handmade crêpes are coupled with cream and finished with a gently brûléed top. Sweet caramel notes from the brûléed surface are accented by the bergamot essence of Earl Grey, making for a magical match.

Tea: Sencha
Cake Pairing: Strawberry Shortcake
Extra ­fine flour imported from Japan gives the sponge cake layers of Lady M’s Strawberry Shortcake that delicate touch. The cake is completed with whipped cream and fresh strawberries, and pairs best with Sencha, a classic Japanese green tea. The herbaceous and grassy aromas of the steeped tea enhance the vanilla notes in the cake and cream, and highlight the sweetness of the strawberries.

Tea: Mint­ Verbena
Cake Pairing: Banana Mille ­Feuille
Our towering Banana Mille­ Feuille pairs with a pot of Mint­ Verbena, one of our favorite Lady M herbal teas. The fragrant lemon­ verbena is a gentle and soothing companion to lush spoonfuls of cream and ripe bananas, while the brisk peppermint balances the buttery, golden puff pastry.
